Music in the Mountains and Roanoke Valley Gives

Phoebe Needles will be hosting a Music in the Mountains program on March 20th, 2021. There is no charge for the program, and all donations go to the summer camp fund. This program will supplement, celebrate, and promote Phoebe Needles’ first year participating in Roanoke Valley Gives, occurring online on March 10th, 2021. Check our Facebook and sign up to receive our emails for upcoming information on the performing musicians and the time of the event.

Overnight Campout

Missing your friends? Want to get out of the house for a night? Experience the 2021 camp season early on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 for an overnight campout at Phoebe Needles! We will play games, roast hot dogs and s’mores over the fire, and camp out in hammocks under the stars! Parents–let us be the sitters for the night and have a much-needed night off! This is for rising 5th graders and up!

Youth Saturdays: November 7th, 2020

On Saturdays throughout the remainder of 2020 and pre-camp season 2021, Phoebe Needles will be hosting a variety of fun and engaging activities to help you escape the COVID-19 blues. Much like the “Days @ Phoebe Needles” programs in the summer of 2020, there will be archery, sling-shot paintball, climbing tower, games, arts & crafts, tie-dye a shirt for $10, and much more! The cost of the day (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) is $20, and we just ask you bring a lunch, a mask, and an attitude ready for excitement and fun! You may find out more information here!

To register, please call (540)-483-1518, email PNCenter@gmail.com, or visit our website, phoebeneedles.org.

Music in the Mountains: October 2020

Chris Prillaman and friends will be performing at Phoebe Needles Center, Inc. in Callaway, Virginia on October 17th, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The concert will be outdoors by Phoebe Needles Hall, so bring your own chair. There is no charge for the program; however, any donations received will go toward the summer camp fund. This allows us to make summer camp possible for all youth, regardless of their ability to pay.

Chris Prillaman is an old-time fiddler that has played at the Floyd Country Store. He owns Twin Creek Distilleries in Rocky Mount, Virginia.

PLEASE WEAR A MASK and social distance with anyone not living in your household. Masks must be worn for the use of indoor bathrooms. Bring your own lawn chair as the program is outside. Dress is casual. If you wish to attend, please RSVP by calling Phoebe Needles Center, Inc. at (540)-483-1518 or by emailing PNCenter@gmail.com.
