Robert S. Strong Summer Camp Fund
Dr. Robert S. Strong was a huge supporter and advocate of Phoebe Needles Center, and because of this, he had a huge impact on our organization and outreach.
For more than 19 years, Bob Strong served on the Board of Directors of Phoebe Needles Center, Inc. For 12 of those years, he served as the President of the Board. He was incredibly enthusiastic, faithful, and willing to promote our programs. He served as the medical director for our summer camp programs, recruited many board members, and sent lots of donors our way. He is greatly missed!
In 2016, Bob retired after 44 years in practice as a physician, and in December of 2022, he passed away from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.
At the beginning of 2023, the PNCI Board of Directors established the Robert S. Strong Summer Camp Fund in his memory. The purpose of this fund is to support our Summer Camp Programs that Dr. Strong was so dearly fond of.
