About Camp Costs

Phoebe Needles Center, Inc. charges significantly less for a week of Residential Camp than it actually cost us to provide a week of camp. Our subsidized camp fee of $275 per Residential Camp Week is approximately 75% less than what it costs to provide one week of Residential Camp for one child ($1,200). Our staff works tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds to help keep camp costs down for our camp families (through donation solicitations and grant requests).  In addition to this subsidy received by all of our camp families, we also offer Discounts for registering early, introducing a new camper to Phoebe Needles, and attending multiple weeks of camp.  Camp families who are able to pay more than the subsidized fee, are kindly asked to consider increasing the amount they pay. Any amount received above the requested subsidized camp fee will be treated as a donation to Phoebe Needles Center, Inc. and is fully tax deductible.
